Anoubis is an user-optimised Security Suite which implements a strongly secured runtime environment for applications. All aspects of Security Management are addressed by Anoubis. The core of the Security Suite is an Application Firewall alongside with a Sandbox which is able to run applications in a contained environment. Beyond that, mechanisms to assure the authenticity of files, directories and applications are provided. The measures taken to improve the security of the runtime environment are intended for desktop as well as server systems.
